HDMI 2.1 is here with support up to 10K resolution

HDMI Forum has released the HDMI 2.1 specification. HDMI 2.1 will support data transfer rates of up to 48Gbps, it will support resolutions of up to 10K; however, it can run 8K at 60Hz, or 4K at 120Hz.

The new spec also includes support for Dynamic HDR. In order to fully utilize the HDMI 2.1 spec, you’ll need to replace your existing HDMI cables with an Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable.
