HDMI 2.1 specification has been announced by the HDMI Forum. It will support Dynamic HDR and 8K resolution at 60 frames per second. But to support these features, new 48G HDMI cables are needed which allows bandwidth up to 48Gbps. Refer to the article below from Digit Trends.
